Kitty season is the heavy season !

Each year, around springtime, the SPCA Laurentians-Labelle team goes in high gear to prepare and organize the massive arrival of :

  • Pregnant female cats
  • Mommy cats and their newborn kittens
  • Orphan kittens

The kitty season lasts right through summer, and more

All of these cats must :

  • Go through a full examination

Do you know how we saved 7 puppies ?

Actually, 14 days of sustained care and a dedicated team were indispensable to bringing these furry friends back on their feet and playing joyfully around us.

These puppies were born in a work camp in Salluit, Nunavik. The camp shuts down during the vacation period. We received a call from ‘Chiots Nordiques’ to ask us to take…

Good news, the situation is restored

Last fall, more than 60 cats were under medical treatment.

The medical team made every effort to treat these cats. Fortunately, all recovered.

All of these cats were adopted by loving families.

$105 allows a sick cat to make a full recovery. Thanks to your donations, we were able to finance a good part of the costs
